Working out of Bangalore-48 means dealing with the usual city stuff every single day. It’s a big name, sure, but on the ground, it’s mostly just us sitting at desks and trying to get through the pile of work before the sun goes down. The area around here has changed a lot over the years. It used to be much emptier, but now you can barely move during peak hours. We spend a lot of time talking about the commute because that's just life in Bangalore. The office is what you’d expect. Lots of chairs, screens, and that specific smell of air conditioning and floor cleaner. We aren't trying to change the world in some dramatic way; we’re just here to do the tasks assigned to us. Sometimes the power flickers and we wait for the backup to kick in, which gives everyone a few seconds to breathe. The local food stalls nearby are where most of us end up for lunch because the office canteen gets old fast. It’s a lot of routine. Log in, check emails, go to meetings that probably could have been notes, and then log out. It’s a living. We’ve got people from all over coming here to work, so you hear a lot of different languages in the hallways. It’s just another building in a very busy part of the city, full of people trying to make it home before the rain starts or the traffic gets even worse.
