Cognizant Technology Solutions

I am based at the Cognizant office over in Bangalore, specifically at the 204 spot on 18-C Main road. We are in the HAL 2nd Stage area, which is a pretty well-known part of the city for anyone working in technology. It’s a busy place with a lot of people coming in and out at all hours of the day and night because of the different shifts. The office is just a typical setup with rows of computers and those standard rolling chairs. Bangalore weather is usually nice, but the traffic on the main road outside can be a real headache when you are trying to get home. There are a few small shops and food stalls nearby where we go to grab coffee or a quick snack during our breaks. It is a big building and it feels a bit like a maze until you get used to where everything is located. We don’t really do anything too exciting, it is just a lot of coding and meetings and looking at screens for hours. The people here are mostly okay, we just keep our heads down and do what we need to do. It’s not like those fancy startup offices you see on TV, it is just a professional workspace that has been around for a while. We spend a lot of time on calls with people in different time zones. It is just the usual IT life in Bangalore.
