Our office is located at No.1200, right on the 5th Main and 13th Cross in Prakash Nagar. If you know Bangalore, you know how these cross streets can get. It’s a busy little corner of Karnataka. Cmpmedica is what we call ourselves. We’ve been here in this building for a while now. It’s a sturdy place, nothing too modern, but it does the trick. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or so in the afternoon, so we just take that time to stretch our legs and talk. We don't have any of those fancy coffee machines, just a kettle and some instant stuff. We spend our days dealing with medical information and data. It sounds a bit dry, and honestly, some days it is, but it’s important work. We have a small crew of people who really know their stuff. It’s not a flashy environment. There are stacks of journals and papers on most desks. We’re not into those open-plan offices you see on TV; we just have our desks and our own ways of doing things. The local tea stall is just a short walk away, and that’s where most of our big decisions probably get made over a quick break. Prakash Nagar is a loud place, lots of horns honking, but we’re used to it by now. We just focus on the screens and the documents. We show up, we do the research, and we go home. It's a simple life.
