You can find us at number five on Rustambagh Road, just off the old Airport Road in Bangalore. It’s a decent spot because it’s tucked away from the heaviest traffic, though you can still hear the city moving nearby. We started this place as a set of service apartments for people who need a stay that feels a bit more like a house than a hotel room. We’ve got several units in the building. Each one has basic furniture and a kitchen setup. We spend a lot of our time making sure the beds are made and the bathrooms are clean before the next person arrives. It’s a lot of laundry and checking light bulbs. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we know the area well. If a guest asks where to get good coffee or where the nearest grocery store is, we just point them down the road. The building isn't brand new, but we try to keep it in good shape. There’s usually someone at the desk, though we might be in the back room or checking a room upstairs if it’s quiet. Sometimes the plumbing acts up, as it does in Bangalore, so we have a plumber on speed dial. It’s not a five-star place with a lobby pianist, but it’s comfortable and honest. We just want people to have a place to sleep where they don't feel like they're in a box. We hope the guests find the space peaceful after a long day in the city.
