Our office is located at 1201, II Cross in the Ambedkar Layout area. If you know where Ambedkar Medical College is in Bangalore, we are right opposite that. We’ve been here in R.T. Nagar for a good while. At Civil-Aid Technoclinic, we mostly deal with the technical side of construction, like testing materials and checking if buildings are actually safe. It’s a lot of lab work and field inspections. It’s not always the most exciting work, sitting and looking at cracks in concrete or testing the strength of a steel bar, but it is necessary. The traffic around here can be a bit of a nightmare sometimes, especially near the college, so we usually try to get our site visits done early in the morning. We have a small group of people here who know their way around a construction site and a laboratory. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm in the city, just the ones who get the data right. Sometimes the equipment acts up or the reports take longer than we’d like because there’s just so much to check, but that’s the nature of the business. We don't use much fancy language; we just tell people what the test results say. If you come by the office, you’ll likely see a lot of concrete samples lying around and people in lab coats. It’s a practical place, and we just focus on doing our bit for the local building projects.
