You can find us at 211 Lavelle Road. The building is an old bungalow with high ceilings and thick walls that stay cool even when it’s boiling outside. It feels very different from the modern glass buildings just a few streets away. We have different rooms for all the things we keep here, and you have to walk through the hallways to see everything. The garden outside needs a lot of work, but the trees give some good shade. We spend our mornings checking the displays and making sure nothing is gathering dust. Since it's an old house, there’s always something that needs fixing, like a leaky tap or a door that won't shut right. We don't have loud music playing. Mostly you just hear the birds or the distant sound of the traffic from the main road. The staff stays in the back room when it's quiet. People usually come in and spend a long time just looking around without saying much. We like it that way. The wooden floors have some scratches from years of people walking through. It's not a place where we rush anyone. We keep the lights a bit dim in some corners to help with the heat. It’s a bit like being in someone’s home rather than a shop. Sometimes we forget we are right in the middle of a busy city because it’s so still inside. We keep the windows open mostly.
