Chowdeshwari City Taxi & Tours & Travels is based out of a residential spot at number 7, 7th Cross on Bazaar Street. We are right here in Neelasandra, Bangalore-560 047. It is a busy neighborhood, especially being so close to the bazaar. You can always hear the sounds of the street and people moving about. We’ve been running this taxi and travel service for quite some time now. It started with just a couple of vehicles and we’ve kept it going from there. We don't have a big fancy call center or a shiny lobby for people to wait in. Most of our work happens over the phone or right there on the street. It’s a lot of coordinating drivers and checking on trips. Sometimes the traffic in Bangalore makes our job really difficult, but we do what we can to stay on schedule. We aren't trying to be the biggest travel company in India. We just want to help people get where they need to go, whether it’s a quick trip across the city or something further out. The drivers are local guys who know the roads well. We keep our records in simple notebooks and on the computer. It’s a straightforward business. No big corporate talk here, just cars and trips and trying to make sure the fuel tank is full for the next journey. It is hard work but we are used to it by now.
