Chola Apparels

We are located on Lady Curzon Road, right across from Bowring Hospital. Chola Apparels sits on the second floor of the Rishab Embassy building. It is a busy spot in town, and the hospital across the street means there is always people and ambulances moving around. Our floor is usually quite busy too, but with a different kind of energy. We have got rows of machines and a cutting table that has seen better days, but it is sturdy and does the job. Being on the second floor means we have to carry everything up and down, which keeps us fit, I guess. We do not really go in for fancy decorations. The walls are mostly covered with calendars and notes about deadlines. It is a practical place for people who actually work with their hands. We have a few regulars who have been coming to us for years. The light coming in from the windows is good in the mornings, which helps with the detailed work. It is not a quiet place, between the machines and the street traffic, but it feels like home to us. We just show up every morning, drink some coffee, and get to work on whatever is on the needles. It is a straightforward way to make a living, and we do not try to make it seem like more than it is. The work is steady and that is all we really ask for.
