You’ll find Chitrakut Hotel at 827 Vijaya Nagar, not far from the Vijaynagar Traffic Police Station. If you’re familiar with the 560062 area, you’ll know it’s a spot where there is always a lot of traffic and people moving around. We’ve been operating here for a while, and it’s mostly about providing a place for people to stay without any of the extra fuss you see in the bigger chains. Our building is pretty straightforward. We spend our mornings checking people out and our afternoons getting the rooms ready for whoever is coming in next. It’s a lot of laundry and a lot of sweeping, but that’s the reality of the hotel business. The police station being nearby means it’s a fairly recognizable landmark for anyone trying to find us. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most of our guests are people who are just passing through or have business in this part of Bangalore. We try to keep the atmosphere calm, even though the street outside can get quite loud with all the bikes and cars. It’s just a few of us working here, trying to keep things organized. We aren't perfect, but we do our best to make sure the rooms are tidy and the doors are locked at night. It’s just a regular local hotel in Vijaya Nagar where we take things as they come.
