Chitra Reddy Clinic

Chitra Reddy Clinic is located in Vidyaranyapura, specifically at No. 831 on 8th Main in the 5th Block of BEL Layout. It’s right near the Syndicate Bank, which is how most people find us if they haven’t been here before. This neighborhood is mostly residential, so it has a different feel than the noisy city center. The clinic is a comfortable enough spot, though the layout is a bit odd because of how the building was originally made. We see a lot of families and older folks from the BEL Layout area. I spend most of my day in the consultation room or at the small desk in the front. We have a big window that looks out onto the street, so I watch the neighborhood life while I’m working between patients. The landmark of the bank really helps people give directions to their friends. It’s a simple clinic with the usual medical charts on the wall and a scale for weighing patients. We don’t have a lot of staff, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to cleaning up the lobby after a rainy day. Sometimes the wait times get a bit long if a complicated case comes in, but the folks around here are generally patient and understand how it goes. We keep a bowl of water outside for the local dogs, which seems to be appreciated. It’s a steady, quiet kind of work here in Vidyaranyapura.
