China Novelty Bazar

Our shop, China Novelty Bazar, is located inside the JKB Complex. We are on Nehru Road, which is right near the Bata Show Room. It is a very easy spot to find if you are coming from Kammanahalli Circle. The area is always crowded with people shopping for clothes and shoes, so we get a lot of foot traffic. Inside the shop, we have stuff piled up pretty high because we want to make sure there is plenty to look at. We have a lot of plastic items, toys, and small household goods that people seem to like. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it helps show off everything we have on the shelves. Sometimes the air conditioning in the complex struggles a bit when it is really hot outside, so we keep a few small fans going at the back of the store. My brother and I take turns running the place. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the shoppers to start coming in from Nehru Road. It is a busy life but we enjoy being right in the middle of all the action in Kammanahalli. We usually stay open a bit later on Saturdays because that is when the circle really comes alive with people out for the evening. It’s just us doing our thing day after day in the complex.
