People usually find us tucked away in the Hanuman Building over here at Chickpet Cross. It’s a busy spot, especially in VS Lane where there’s always someone hauling a bag or a cart. We’ve been at No. 708 and 709 for quite a while now. The shop isn't huge, but we pack it full. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic and people shouting, but that is just how things go around here. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, and other days you can barely find a place to stand. We focus on the clothes and getting things sorted for whoever walks in. It’s a lot of folding and unfolding all day. My father started things out, and now we just keep it moving. The lighting isn't the brightest in the back of the store, but you can see the fabrics well enough near the front. We handle the inventory ourselves. We don’t have fancy brochures or anything like that. People come in, they look at what we have, and we figure out a price. It’s simple. Most of our regulars know exactly where we are, even if the lane is a bit of a maze. If you get lost, just ask anyone for the Hanuman Building. Most people know it. We try to keep the stock updated so there is something new every week or so. It’s just us doing our thing every day.
