We are set up at 4/A on the 80 Ft Road, over in RMV 2nd Stage. It’s a nice part of Bangalore, right on New Bel Road. If you’ve ever been stuck in Bangalore traffic, you know that being on a main road like the 80 Ft one is both a blessing and a curse. It’s easy for people to see us, but the noise of the bikes and cars never really stops. Chariot World Tours Ltd. is where we handle all the travel plans and bookings. The office is filled with old brochures and maps, and there’s always someone on the phone trying to sort out a flight or a hotel somewhere. We have a few desks pushed together and a couple of chairs for when people drop in to talk about their trips. It’s not a high-tech hub, just a place where we get the logistics of travel sorted out. Bangalore has changed so much since we’ve been here, but New Bel Road still has its own vibe. We like being in RMV 2nd Stage because it feels a bit more grounded than some of the newer areas. Most days are spent looking at screens and talking to people about where they want to go. It’s busy work, but we like it. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait, but that’s just how it is here. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up.
