Our little office is over in Mathikere, specifically at No 499/B on the 1st Main D Cross. We are up on the 2nd floor, which means we get a decent view of the street, but it also means a lot of walking up and down those stairs every time the delivery guy arrives. The place is actually c/o G.V. Chandareshekar, so that is the name you usually see on the mail. Channelmentor It Solutions is not a massive operation with hundreds of people. It is just a handful of us working in a space that is probably a bit too small for all the computer gear we have lying around. There are wires everywhere and boxes of old keyboards tucked under the desks. Bangalore is always loud, and the noise from the 1st Main definitely drifts up through the windows. We usually have a radio playing in the corner to drown out the honking. It is a pretty casual environment where nobody really cares if your desk is messy as long as the work gets finished. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting things and talking to people on the phone. Lunch is usually something we pick up from the local stalls nearby, and we eat while watching the traffic. It is a practical setup for an IT place, nothing fancy, just a lot of screens and people typing away. We have been here for a while and the neighbors finally stopped asking what we actually do all day.
