Chandrashekar

This is my small place in Hosakerehalli, located at 100 Banashankari 3rd Stage. I’ve lived around here for a long time. People know me, so they just call the shop by my name. I deal with a bit of everything that the neighbors might need. It’s at the corner of 1st Main and 4th Cross, so it's easy to spot if you're walking. The shop is small, and sometimes I have to stack things outside on the porch because there isn't enough room inside. I don't have employees, just me working here every day from morning till night. The fan makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it keeps the air moving. I get my stock from the main market every few days. It's a quiet street mostly, except for when the school nearby lets out and all the kids come running by. I keep a handwritten ledger for everything. It's an old way of doing things, but it works for me. I don't use a computer for the billing. People pay cash and we move on. It’s a very basic setup. If I’m not here, the shutter is down, but that doesn't happen often. I like staying busy and talking to the folks who live nearby. It's a modest life, and I have no complaints about how things are going.
