Chandra Shekar Bhat

My place is located at 8 Kalyan Nagar, right on the Mylasandra Village Road. I have been working out of here for quite some time. It is a quiet enough spot, though the village road can get a bit bumpy after a heavy rain. I handle most of the business myself, though I have some help now and then. The office is really just a room with a lot of files and a computer that’s a few years old. I don't see the point in getting all the newest gadgets if the old ones still work. Most people who come by are locals or people who heard about me from a friend. I like it that way. It makes the work feel more personal. I spend a lot of time on the phone or just looking over documents. Sometimes the power goes out, so I keep some candles and a flashlight handy. It is just part of being in this area. I don't have any big corporate goals. I just want to do a good job and make sure everything is sorted out correctly. The day starts around eight and I usually stay until the sun goes down. It is a simple life and a simple business. I don’t try to make it more than what it is. If you're ever in Kalyan Nagar, you’ll probably see me sitting by the window working or maybe out front stretching my legs during a break. It's not a flashy setup, but it suits me well enough for now.
