Chandra Krishi Udyog

Our shop, Chandra Krishi Udyog, is located at 287 Malleshwaram on Ahimsa Marg, over toward the Chincholi Bunder side. Malleshwaram is a place with a lot of history, and Ahimsa Marg has its own quiet charm despite being in the middle of everything. We focus on agricultural tools and supplies, so we see a lot of people who work the land. It’s a different kind of crowd than you get in the shopping malls. People come in with dirt under their fingernails and ask for very specific types of equipment. Our shelves are packed with blades, seeds, and various parts that farmers need. It gets a bit crowded inside when more than three people are standing there. We’ve been running this place for a long time, and we know our regulars by name. The Chincholi Bunder area is always active, but we try to keep a steady pace. We don't believe in rushing people into buying things they don't need. Most of our knowledge comes from years of listening to what works in the fields and what doesn't. It’s a simple setup—a counter, some old wooden shelves, and a back room for the heavier stock. Sometimes the rains make the street outside a bit muddy, but that’s just how it is. We keep the shop open late because farmers often come by after their day's work is finished. It’s a good life, being part of the link between the earth and the people who grow our food.
