Chandana Travels

We operate out of Vijaya Nagar, specifically at 207 in the Naranpura area. This is a travel business where we deal with bookings and transport. It’s a small office with a lot of papers and phones. We spend a lot of our time talking to people about where they need to go and how to get there. The Naranpura area is quite lively, so there’s always people walking by. We’ve been here at this address for a good while. It’s not a very big space, just enough for a couple of desks and chairs for when people come in to talk. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and it gets a bit hectic. We try to keep track of all the schedules and routes. It’s mostly about coordinating things. We don't have a fleet of fancy cars sitting outside, it's more about the planning and the logistics side of things. Most of our regulars are from around the neighborhood. We know the streets of Vijaya Nagar very well by now. It’s a lot of computer work and making sure the details are right for every trip. We open up in the morning and stay until the last booking is handled. It’s just us here doing the daily work of running a travel desk. No big corporate vibe, just a local spot for travel help. We have a couple of old maps on the wall and a water dispenser for the customers.
