We are over in Chamarajpet, specifically at 7th Cross and 1st Main. Our office is on the first floor of building 212. It’s a typical Bangalore office setup, nothing too crazy. At Alight Infotech, we spend our time on computers, mostly dealing with software and technical stuff. The room is usually quiet except for the sound of typing. We have a few desks pushed together and wires running along the floor. It’s not a big corporate headquarters with a gym or a cafeteria. We just have a small kitchen area where we make coffee. Sometimes the internet goes down and we all just sit there frustrated for a bit. That’s just how it goes with tech. We have been working from this spot for a while now. The neighborhood is a mix of old houses and newer offices, which is nice. We get our work done, have our meetings, and try to stay on top of the projects we have. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just providing services that people need. Most of us have been here long enough that we don't need to say much to get through the day. We just know our roles. When the day ends, we fight the Chamarajpet traffic like everyone else. It’s a plain, straightforward way to earn a living. We have enough coffee to keep us going and enough work to keep us busy.
