Chaitra Ranganath

I’ve been here at 610 Nisarga for a while now. It’s on 3A Main Road, right across from Meraj Industries. You can’t miss the noise from their side sometimes. Virat Nagar is a busy little pocket of Bommanahalli. Being on Begur Road means there’s always something going on outside. Bangalore-68 has changed a lot, but this corner stays pretty much the same. I spend most of my day inside this space. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just where I get things done. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets a bit much, especially during the rains when the puddles start forming near the entrance. I usually grab tea from the stall down the street. It’s a simple setup. My name is Chaitra Ranganath and this is just where I am. People stop by and ask for directions because of the industry landmark. The building is okay, it’s got its quirks like any old place. I’ve grown used to the way the light hits the front door in the afternoon. It’s homey in a way that’s hard to explain. I don’t really go for all that modern glass and steel stuff. This feels more real. The walls have some marks and the floor creaks a bit, but it works for me. I’ve lived in different parts of Bangalore, but Bommanahalli has a different energy. It’s industrial but lived-in. I try to keep things organized here, though it doesn't always stay that way for long.
