Centre Point

Our location is number 436 in the K S S I D C part of the Jigani Industrial Estate. It’s a bit of a drive out here if you’re coming from the main parts of Shivaji Nagar. The area is filled with factories and warehouses, so there’s always the sound of machinery or trucks moving in the background. It’s not a quiet place, that’s for sure. We have a large space here, mostly because we need the room for everything we handle. The floor is industrial concrete and the ceiling is high with those big metal beams. It gets quite hot in the afternoons under the metal roof. We have some fans going, but they mostly just move the warm air around. We’ve been at Centre Point for several years. We see the same truck drivers coming in and out every week. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, maybe just a calendar on the wall and some old photos. Our team is used to the dust and the noise. We just get on with the day’s tasks. It’s an honest kind of work. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. If you’re looking for us, you have to follow the signs through the estate, as it can be a bit confusing with all the similar-looking buildings. We’re usually here early in the morning before the sun gets too high. We keep a box of spare parts in the corner.
