Carpedieum is tucked away in Seshadripuram, near the Vasna area. We are at number 36, which is quite close to Shivananda Circle. If you know that intersection, you know how hectic the traffic can be during the rush hour. We can hear the horns and the buses from our windows all day long. It’s a central part of the city, so it’s easy for us to get around, even if the commute is a bit of a headache sometimes. The building we are in is one of those older structures that has seen a lot of things. We have a few rooms where we do our work. It’s not a modern glass tower with an elevator that talks to you. It’s just a regular building with stairs and some old wooden doors. We spend our time here working on various projects and keeping the business running. It’s a small group of us, so we all know each other’s business and what everyone is working on. We don’t have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and head home when the sun goes down. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to catch up on, and then the circle is a bit quieter. It’s a good spot for us, and we’ve grown to like the chaotic energy of this part of Bangalore.
