Carlson Wagonlit Travel

Our office is tucked away at number 15 on 1st Cross in Erappa Layout. This is over in the Subbayanapalya part of Chikkabanaswadi, Bangalore. It is a residential neighborhood mostly, so you will see kids playing in the street or neighbors chatting over their gates while we are inside working on travel plans. We have been in this spot for some time, and the building is just a standard place where we keep our desks and files. Working in travel means we are constantly looking at maps and schedules on our screens, but looking out the window, you just see the regular life of Bangalore passing by. It is not a retail shop with big posters in the window, but more of a workspace where the team handles the logistics. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out, and we just wait it out like everyone else in the layout. We know the local shops nearby where we grab lunch. It is a small team here, so everyone knows each other’s business. We don't really have a corporate vibe going on, even though the company name is big. We are just local people in Chikkabanaswadi trying to get the bookings right for whoever calls in. It’s a lot of phone calls and emails, day in and day out, in a quiet corner of the city. We keep it simple and just do the work.
