Carlson Wagonlit Travel Operations

Our office for Carlson Wagonlit Travel Operations is located in Kaggadaspura, Bangalore. We are in the VS Enclave Apartments at No. G-5. Being inside a residential apartment building makes the whole workday feel a bit different than being in a big tech park. You see the neighbors going out for groceries while we are inside on the phones. We handle travel stuff all day long, mostly booking tickets, checking hotel schedules, and dealing with last-minute cancellations. Bangalore traffic is always a big topic of conversation when people arrive late to the office in the morning. The Balaji Layout area is usually pretty busy, but our little corner stays somewhat calm. We have desks pushed together and computers that have seen better days, honestly. It is a lot of talking to people on the line and trying to find the right routes for their trips. We do not have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We just have a kettle and some files stacked up in the corner of the room. Sometimes the internet acts up and we all have to wait around for it to come back, but usually, it is just steady work. People from the neighborhood sometimes come by to drop off documents if they live nearby. It is a small, dedicated team here. We just get the travel operations done without making a big fuss about it. It is just practical work for a busy city.
