Our setup for Carl Zeiss India Pvt Ltd is located in Bangalore, specifically in the 560040 area. It’s a pretty standard workspace where we deal with all the different parts of the business. Bangalore has changed a lot over the years and we have seen the area grow quite a bit since we started here. The office is where most of the technical stuff happens and where the team sits down to figure out the daily schedules. It isn't a huge flashy place but it serves its purpose for what we do every day. We spend a lot of time on the computers and talking to people about the equipment we handle. Sometimes the commute in Bangalore can be a real headache but we all make it in eventually. The weather is usually decent though which makes working here a bit better. We have some storage space and some work benches for the more hands-on tasks that come up. It’s mostly just a group of people trying to do their jobs without too much fuss. We don’t really go for anything too corporate in the way we talk or act. It’s just about getting the work done and making sure everything is sorted out by the end of the day. We have been in Karnataka for a long time now and it feels like home to most of us. There’s always coffee around and someone is usually complaining about the traffic or the heat.
