Our office for Capital Market Publishers India Pvt Ltd is located at 37 Dickenson Road on the second floor. One of the best things about working here is being so close to Tiwari Sweet Shop, as the smell of fresh snacks often reaches us. The building is an older structure with a lot of character, and our office feels very settled and traditional. We have tall shelves filled with the various books and journals we have put out over the years. The desks are mostly covered with manuscripts, red pens, and proofs that need to be checked. It’s a focused kind of place where everyone is usually busy reading or writing something. We have a heavy main door that does a good job of blocking out the noise from Dickenson Road. Most of our furniture is older, dark wood that has been around for a long time. We don’t really do the modern open-office thing; instead, we have our own corners where we can concentrate. In the afternoon, it is common for someone to go downstairs and bring back some sweets or samosas for everyone to share. It’s a steady, quiet environment where we take our time to make sure the information we publish is right. We have a routine that hasn't changed much in years, and that is just the way we like it in this part of town.
