Candle

Our place, Candle, is situated on the 2nd floor right next to the Passport Office. If you know Ashram Road and Brigade Road, you know how hectic it can get around here. Being on the second floor helps us get away from some of the noise at street level, though you can still hear the horns honking all day long. It’s a good spot because everyone knows where the Passport Office is, so we never have to give complicated directions. The space itself is decent. We have enough room for what we need to do. We don't have a lot of fancy signs or lights outside. It’s just a regular office floor where we handle the business. People often walk past us on their way to other offices in the building. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the area change quite a bit. Brigade Road always has something going on. Inside Candle, we try to keep things calm and just get through the work. It’s not a huge team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we take the stairs. It keeps us moving. We are just a group of people working out of this 2nd-floor space, trying to keep things going day after day without any fuss. We are not bothered about being big or famous, we just want to do the work from our little corner. It is a simple life for us here.
