You can find our office at Ananda Rao Circle, tucked right behind the Brigade Plaza and next to Hotel Sheetal. It is a very busy part of the city, and the traffic outside is almost constant. Inside, it’s a different kind of busy. We have printers running and scraps of vinyl and paper all over the place. Being an advertising shop, you’d think we’d have a big sign ourselves, but we are mostly focused on getting the work out for everyone else. The desks are cluttered with rulers, cutters, and half-finished proofs. We spend a lot of time on the phones or standing over the large format machines making sure the colors aren't coming out wrong. It gets a bit cramped when we have big banners laid out on the floor to dry. The smell of ink is very strong, especially on rainy days when we have to keep the windows shut. We aren't a big corporate agency with people in suits. We are just a small crew in a dusty office near the circle. People drop in with sketches on napkins or files on thumb drives, and we try to make sense of it all. It’s a lot of back and forth, making sure the phone numbers are right and the fonts are readable. We just keep our heads down and try to stay on top of the pile of orders that never seems to get any smaller.
