C N Chaya Prasad

C N Chaya Prasad is located at 567 Jayanagar Ist Block. This part of town is usually quite busy with people going to the markets or the parks nearby. Our building is a bit older, but it’s sturdy. We’ve been here for a long time, so we know most of the other shop owners on the street. It’s a ground floor spot which makes it easy for people to just walk in. We don't have any big glass windows, just a regular door. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and papers. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the piles get a bit high. It’s just the way it goes when you’re busy. We drink a lot of coffee here. There is a small pantry in the back where we keep the kettle. The street outside can be a bit cramped for parking, so we usually tell people to find a spot a block away. Jayanagar is a good area to be in. Everything is green and there are trees everywhere. Even though the traffic is bad, it still feels like a neighborhood. We stay open until six usually, but if the weather is bad we might close a bit early to beat the rain. It’s a honest way to make a living. We don't use computers for everything, still have some old ledgers. It feels more real that way. Just a simple place for simple work. Most of our neighbors have been here as long as we have.
