Our business is tucked away in the Hazarath Hamee Sha Complex on Cubbonpet Main Road. The address is 379, and it’s right in the middle of all the bustle. C K Krishna Murthy & Sons has been around for a long time, and you can tell by the way the office looks. We have old desks and stacks of ledgers that go back years. Cubbonpet is a maze of small streets, and it’s always crowded with people and goods moving around. It’s a traditional family business setup. We don't really do things the modern way with fancy computers for everything; we still like our paper records. The complex itself is quite old and has a lot of character. We spend our days talking to long-time customers who have been coming to us for decades. There’s a sense of history in these walls that you don’t get in the newer parts of Bangalore. It gets a bit dark inside the complex, so we always have the lights on even during the day. We deal with whatever comes our way, whether it’s a small order or a big project. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just know we are here. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten together at the back. It’s a slow and steady way of living and working in a very fast city. We'll keep doing things this way as long as we can.
