Bs Hardware

If you walk down 1st Cross in Sri Rampuram, you will see Bs Hardware at number 22. It is a small place packed with all sorts of things like nuts, bolts, and tools. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, so sometimes we have to use a ladder to find what a customer wants. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep a lot of variety on hand. You can usually smell the grease and the metal as soon as you step inside. We get a lot of locals coming in for a single screw or a specific wrench they can't find anywhere else. Sri Rampuram is a busy neighborhood and there is always something going on outside the door. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is hidden. The shop floor is worn down from people walking in and out all day. We spend a lot of time counting out small parts or cutting bits of wire. It isn't a high-tech setup. We use an old ledger for some things and just talk to people face to face. It’s the kind of place where you can find what you need without much fuss. The bins are full of hardware that we’ve sorted by hand over the years. We keep the doors open to let the air in, even when it’s raining outside.
