Brindavan Travels

MG Road is always busy. We've been at 108 for a while now. Most days it's just us answering phones and checking the schedule. It gets noisy outside with all the traffic on Tata Road. We started Brindavan Travels because there was a need for someone local who actually knows the shortcuts around here. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a couple of desks, a few chairs that have seen better days, and some old maps stuck on the wall with tape. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and making sure the cars are actually ready to go out. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down and we have to go down the street to the little stall. That’s just how it is here. People walk in off the street asking for directions more than bookings sometimes. We don’t mind much. It’s a good spot to be in, right in the middle of everything happening. We try to keep things simple for everyone. No complicated paperwork if we can help it. Just tell us where you need to go and we see if we have a car free that day. Most of our regulars know us by name now and just wave through the window. It’s been quite a few years and the neighborhood has changed a lot, but we’re still here in the same old building. We usually open up early and stay until the last driver checks in for the night. It’s a lot of work, honestly, but it keeps us busy and we like the routine.
