Our office is tucked away in Sooda Post and Village, which is in the Karkala Taluk of Udupi. It is a very green and quiet part of the world compared to the big cities. We do hospitality services here under the Brigade name. It is not a massive corporate building. It’s more of a local office that fits into the village surroundings. The air is cleaner here and we don't have the constant noise of traffic. We spend our days managing various service tasks and making sure our hospitality projects are on track. Most of us grew up around here or in nearby parts of Udupi. We know the local customs and how things work in Karkala. It’s a lot of coordination and talking to different vendors and staff members. Sometimes we have to travel out to the actual sites, but we always come back to the village office to finish the paperwork. We don't use big words or try to act like we are something we are not. We just provide a service and try to do it right. The internet can be slow sometimes because of where we are, but we manage. People in the village know us as the hospitality folks. We keep things simple and honest. It’s a good way to work, being surrounded by the trees and the local community. We just keep our heads down and do the daily tasks.
