We’ve been tucked away here at House No. 215 on 1st Main Road for a good while now. Domlur Layout has changed a lot since we first started, but our spot remains pretty much the same. It’s a regular house, so it doesn’t feel like those big glass buildings you see in the tech parks. We have a small group of people working here, mostly sitting at desks that have seen better days. Usually, the morning starts with someone trying to fix the printer or complaining about the traffic near the 1st Main intersection. It’s a quiet enough street except for when the school buses go by in the afternoon. We handle various consulting jobs that come our way, mostly dealing with computer systems and software problems for people who call us up. There isn’t a fancy lobby or a receptionist; you just walk in and someone will probably be there to help you out. We keep a stash of biscuits in the kitchen for when we have to stay late to finish a project. The lighting inside is a bit dim in the corners, but we have enough lamps to see what we are doing on our screens. Most of the neighbors know us by now, and we try not to make too much noise. It’s just a practical place to work without all the extra stuff you don't really need for business. Our files are mostly kept in old cabinets that creak every time we open them, but we manage.
