Our office is over at 226, 16th Cross, 5 A Main in JP Nagar. It’s right in the heart of Bangalore 80. If you’ve spent any time in JP Nagar, you know there are lots of trees and houses mixed in with small businesses like ours. This BPO setup isn’t anything like those massive tech parks you see on the edge of the city. We’re in a more lived-in part of town. The building is a bit older, and the 5 A Main road can get a little tight when everyone is trying to park their scooters. We’re usually inside with our headsets on, just handling whatever calls or data comes through the system. It can get pretty noisy when everyone is talking at once, but we’re used to it by now. The tea lady comes by in the afternoon, which is usually the highlight of the day for most of us. We have some plants in the corner that haven’t been watered in a while, and the chairs are a bit squeaky. It’s just a normal workplace where people come to earn a living. We don't have a gym or a fancy cafeteria, just a small break room with a microwave that sounds like a jet engine. People here are friendly and we mostly just talk about the traffic or what’s for lunch. It’s a simple life at the office.
