We are a software company, though we do not have a big physical storefront that you would walk into off the street. Our main way of staying in touch is through the email address for S Kadge on Yahoo. Most of our work happens on remote servers and in the cloud, so where we sit physically does not matter as much as the code we are writing. We have been doing this for quite a while, and the team is mostly made up of people who just enjoy solving logic puzzles on their screens. We do not have a fancy office in a glass tower with a view. Often, we are working from home or from small shared spaces where the coffee is decent and the internet is fast. It is a very quiet way to run a business. There are no big meetings or corporate retreats to go to. We just communicate through messages and emails to get the software built for the people who need it. Sometimes a bug takes all night to fix, and you end up drinking way too much caffeine before the sun comes up. We do not have a marketing department telling us what to say, so we just talk normally to our clients. The software we make is used by other businesses to keep track of their stuff. It is not glamorous, but it is very useful. If the code works, we are happy.
