We are based at 496 Salarpuria House on CMH Road in Indiranagar. It’s a good spot because the metro is right there, which makes getting to work a lot easier for the team. We occupy the second floor. It’s a typical office setup—rows of desks, computers, and a small pantry where the kettle is always on. We do software work, mostly maintenance and some development for specific clients. Borland is a name that's been around, but here in this office, we’re just a group of developers and support staff. The traffic on CMH Road is legendary, so there’s always the sound of horns in the background. We have a few plants by the windows that we try to keep alive, though we often forget to water them. It's not a startup with bean bags and free snacks. It's a place where people come to put in their eight hours and then go home. We have meetings in the small conference room that sometimes run a bit long because we get sidetracked talking about cricket or the weather. Most of us have been working together for a few years now, so we know each other's habits. We don’t spend much on decorating or trying to look cool. We focus on the code and making sure the servers stay up. It’s a steady environment and we like being in the middle of Indiranagar. Sometimes the elevator takes forever, so we just take the stairs to the second floor and call it our exercise.
