Corsage

We are based in Bommanahalli, which is a place that never seems to stop moving. Our shop is called Corsage, and we focus on the small things. It is a small workspace, and we have it filled with ribbons, artificial flowers, and all kinds of little decorative bits. You can usually find us sitting at the main table with a glue gun or a pair of scissors. The noise from the main road outside is constant, with the buses and bikes constantly honking, but we don't notice it much anymore. We don't have any big corporate structure here; it is just a few people making things by hand. The shelves are a bit disorganized, and we often have to dig through bins to find the specific beads or pins we need. It’s a bit of a dusty spot, but we try to keep the actual products clean and tidy. We often have customers coming in with very specific ideas, and we spend a lot of time just talking through what is possible and what isn't. Sometimes things don't go perfectly, and we have to start a piece over from scratch. It’s the kind of work that requires a lot of patience and steady hands. We usually eat our lunch right at the desk because there isn't really a separate break room. It is just a humble little operation in a busy part of the city, and we are happy enough with that.
