Our location is out at the Kiadb Apparel Park, which is near the railway station in Doddaballapur. It’s quite a distance from the main city areas, so it’s a bit of a journey for most of us to get here every morning. We are situated near the roller area. Being so close to the station means we can hear the trains coming and going all day long. The Kiadb Apparel Park is a dedicated space for businesses like ours, so it feels very industrial. Bombay Rayon Fashions Ltd. has a large footprint here. The building is big and holds a lot of machinery. It’s loud and it can get quite dusty, but that’s expected in an apparel park. We have high ceilings and lots of space for the different production lines. We spend our days managing the flow of garments and making sure the machines are running as they should. It’s a very practical place. There aren’t many places to eat around here, so most of us bring our own lunch from home and sit together in the break room. The weather in Doddaballapur can be a bit different from the city, sometimes cooler but often very dry. We just focus on the clothes and getting them ready for shipping. It is a straightforward, hardworking environment where the main goal is just to finish the day's quota.
