Bobby Prosound & Light

We are located in the Oil Mill Compound over in Lingarajapuram. The address is No.229/8 on Oil Mill Road, Saitpalya. It’s right near the Rama Oil place, which is a big landmark around here. Our space is more like a warehouse than a fancy office because we have so much sound and light equipment. There are speakers stacked up, coils of wire everywhere, and heavy cases sitting on the floor. It’s a bit dusty, but that’s what happens when you’re moving gear in and out every day. Most of us at Bobby Prosound & Light have been doing this for years. We know the sounds of the different speakers just by hearing them once. The neighborhood is quite busy with a lot of small industries and shops. Parking our trucks can be a challenge sometimes on Oil Mill Road. We usually start our days early, checking the lights and testing the soundboards before they go out to a show. It’s not a nine-to-five kind of job. We are often working late into the night or over the weekends. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just walking into the compound. We just care about the gear working right and getting to the venue on time. It’s hard work, but we are used to it by now. It is noisy and hectic, but this is how we have always done things.
