If you know Betalbatim in Goa, then you know it’s a bit quieter than the north side. Our office is right here in Thondvaddo. It’s a nice area, very local. We’ve been operating Bluecoast Travel and Leisure out of this spot in Salcete for a while now. Most days are pretty calm. You get the smell of the salt in the air and the sound of the bikes going past. We handle a lot of leisure trips for folks wanting to see the coast or maybe head inland a bit. It’s not a corporate setup by any means. We have a few desks, some maps on the wall, and usually a fan going to keep the heat off. We know the roads around here like the back of our hands. If someone asks where to find a good spot that isn't packed with tourists, we usually have a suggestion. Being based in South Goa gives us a different perspective, I think. We aren't in a rush. When someone walks in, we take the time to chat. Sometimes people just want to know how the weather is looking for the weekend. We don’t mind. It’s part of being in a small place like Betalbatim. We just handle the bookings and the leisure plans as they come. It’s a decent way to spend the day, honestly. We’re just regular people trying to help other people enjoy their time off.
