Working out of Halasuru Gowlee Bazaar Street isn't always easy because the road is narrow. Our place at 16 C is mostly filled with boxes of paper and those big toner cartridges for office printers. We deal with a lot of wires and cables that always get tangled up no matter how much we try to organize them. It’s mostly just us trying to keep track of what offices in the area need for their desks. Sometimes the computers act up and we have to spend the whole afternoon figuring out why a simple program won't start. The walls are a bit bare and we have a calendar from three years ago still hanging near the window. We get a lot of sunlight in the mornings which makes the place warm, so we keep the door open. People walk by to the market and sometimes poke their heads in just to see what we are doing. We don't have a big sign, just the one on the door that's a bit faded now. It’s mostly about answering the phone and writing down orders on a pad. Nothing too complicated, just trying to get the supplies out to people who need them for their work. The neighborhood is loud but we’ve gotten used to the sound of the bikes and the vendors outside. We usually have lunch at the small canteen down the lane. By the end of the day, our hands are usually covered in black ink from the cartridges, but that is just part of the business.
