If you go to Cunningham Road and look for G204, you’ll find us. Blue Nile Stationery has been tucked away here for a while now. It’s not like those big fancy malls; it’s just a shop filled with stuff people actually use. I spend most of my day unpacking boxes of pens, notebooks, and all kinds of office supplies. It’s funny how much paper people still need even with all the computers around. The smell of new books is something I really like about working here. Sometimes a student comes in looking for a specific drawing pencil, and we have to dig through the back shelves to find it. The space is a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock. Boxes are stacked up in the corners, and the counter is usually covered in sticky notes. Cunningham Road gets quite a lot of people, especially during the lunch hour when office workers step out. They usually want a quick refill for their pens or maybe some folders. It’s a quiet kind of work, mostly. I just sit here, ring up the sales, and maybe chat with the regulars who live in the apartments nearby. It’s not a complicated life. We keep things simple. If we have it, we sell it. If we don’t, I might tell you where else to look. That’s just how we do things at this shop. We are usually here until the evening when the street gets a bit more peaceful.
