We've been at 156, Kantha Niwas, in the First Block of Banashankari Third Phase for a while now. Our office is in the Third Stage of the neighborhood. This part of Bangalore, Kathrikuppe, gets pretty busy with all the traffic and people moving around. Most days start early for us. We handle a lot of packages, mostly people coming in to drop off things they need to send across the city or further away. It’s a small space, but we keep it organized so nothing gets lost under the counter. The staff here knows most of the regular faces who stop by. We aren't doing anything fancy, just moving boxes and envelopes from one point to another. Sometimes the computers act up or the tape runs out at the wrong time, but we manage. People usually come in in a hurry, asking if their stuff will get there by tomorrow. We tell them how it works and get the paperwork done. It’s a lot of sorting, scanning, and making sure the labels are stuck on tight. The rain sometimes makes things tricky during monsoon, but the trucks still pull up outside on the main road. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually grab a quick break when the afternoon slump hits. We've got a small calendar on the wall that we mark off every day, just to keep track of how the month is going. It's not the most modern office, and the paint is peeling a bit near the window, but it's where we work.
