Our office is in Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar, right on the Ranganathapura Main Road, 18th Cross 10. Bka Software Pvt Ltd is just a bunch of us working in a fairly quiet spot. We have a simple setup with rows of desks and some older chairs that have seen better days. It can get a bit warm in the afternoons, but we have some fans to keep the air moving well enough. There are not any big motivational posters on the walls here. Instead, we have whiteboards covered in notes and diagrams that look like a mess to anyone else. The 18th Cross is a nice street, and it is not nearly as loud as the main roads nearby. We have a small balcony where we can step out for a minute to breathe some fresh air and watch the street. We do not go out for big fancy lunches. Most of us just bring food from home or grab something quick from the small stall down the street. It is a very low-key environment for writing code and testing things. We do not have a corporate feel at all. We just show up, do the programming that needs to be done, and try to make sure everything works right before we head home. We have been in this neighborhood for a while and the routine works for everyone. It is just a normal software job in a regular area.
