B.J.N Hotels

Our place is at number 63, down in the 1st Stage of Robertson Road. Specifically, we are on the 4th 'C' Cross, which is a bit of a mouthful to say if you are giving directions over the phone. Being on Robertson Road Main Road means we see a lot of people and cars going by all day long. This is Bangalore, so the noise is just part of the background now. We run B.J.N Hotels from here, and it is a hands-on kind of job. There is always a room that needs fixing or a guest who needs something at an odd hour. We don't have a massive staff, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from checking people in to making sure the hallways are clear. The building has been here for a while and has its own little quirks, like the way the stairs creak or the specific way the light hits the lobby in the afternoon. We stay busy with the day-to-day stuff that comes with running a hotel in India. It’s not a fancy corporate life; it’s more about making sure the sheets are clean and the water is running. We get travelers from all over, and it's interesting to see who walks through the door next. We just keep our heads down and keep the place running as best as we can and try to keep things simple for everyone.
