Being in Whitefield means we have to deal with some of the worst traffic in Bangalore, but we have grown used to it over time. The office itself is nothing special to look at. It is just a functional room where we have our servers and workstations set up. We are a small partnership, so we don't have layers of bosses telling us what to do. We just get our assignments and start working on them. Sometimes we have a lot of work and everyone is quiet and focused, and other times we chat about regular things while we wait for a program to finish running. We don't have a cleaning service that comes every day, so we mostly tidy up after ourselves. The neighborhood has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of it. We don't spend money on expensive furniture or big signs. Most of our budget goes into the equipment we need to do our tech work properly. It is a straightforward operation. We show up, we do the work, and we go home. We like keeping things simple and avoiding all the corporate drama that you find in bigger companies. It works for us.
