Bhavani Novelty

You can find Bhavani Novelty over in Kumbarpet at the F M C Complex. We are at number 15 on Elphinston Road. This area is known for all the shops selling different kinds of goods, and we have been part of it for a long time. The street is very narrow and usually full of two-wheelers and delivery boys. Our shop is filled with novelty items that we get from different suppliers. It is a lot of work to keep track of what we have in stock. The FMC complex is an old building, and it has that specific smell of old stone and cardboard boxes. I spend most of my day sitting on a wooden stool near the entrance. We have a lot of customers who come from far away because they know Kumbarpet has everything. It gets very busy during the festival seasons, and then we hardly have time to eat our lunch. The rest of the year, it is a bit more relaxed. I like talking to the other shopkeepers on the road when things are slow. We all know each other around here. The shop is small, and we have to stack the boxes all the way to the ceiling to make room. It is a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside, but we make it work. That is just the way business goes in this part of the city.
