Bhavani Novelties

Our shop is Bhavani Novelties and we are located on the 1st Floor of the Prabhat RD area. The address is Shop No 14/9/10/11 in Lane Number 3, right off Jaya Chamarajendra Road. It is a bit of a mouthful to explain to delivery drivers. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs to see us, so we don't always get the casual walk-ins that ground floor shops get. We have a few different shop numbers combined into one space to fit everything. JC Road is always full of vehicles and spare parts shops, so we are a bit different for this lane. We spend a lot of time checking the inventory and making sure we have what people ask for. The light in the lane isn't the best, but we've put up some good tubes inside the shop. It is a family-run kind of thing. We take turns with the chores and dealing with the suppliers. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we get a big shipment of new goods. We just stack the boxes in the corner until we can get to them. It isn't a glamorous job, just regular retail work. We like the people who come by, many of them work in the nearby offices and stop in during their lunch break. We've been in this spot for quite a while now and it feels like home.
