Our office is located in the Ananthaswamy Building, specifically at number 3. We are right in Vinayaka Nagar on the 6th Main. If you are from Mysore, you definitely know the V.B. Bakery nearby. Sometimes the smell of fresh bread drifts over here and makes us all hungry before lunch time even starts. Bharti Axa Life Insurance is what it says on the door, so we spend our hours talking to people about their policies and filling out forms. It is a pretty standard office setup with desks and computers and a few water coolers. It gets quite busy on Monday mornings when everyone realizes they need to settle their accounts. The building itself is sturdy and has that classic Mysore feel to it. We are not in a flashy high-rise, just a regular spot where people can walk in and talk to us face to face. Vinayaka Nagar is a nice neighborhood to be in. It feels safe and familiar to most of the staff who live around here. We try to keep the files organized, though it is a constant battle with all the printing we do. We do not use a lot of fancy words here. We just explain how the insurance works and help people understand what they are signing. It is a job that requires a lot of sitting and talking, but we have good neighbors and a decent view of the street from the main window.
